Can f(R) gravity isotropise a pre-bounce contracting universe?

چکیده
We address the important issue of isotropisation a pre-bounce contracting phase in $f(R)$ gravity, which would be relevant to construct any viable nonsingular bouncing scenario gravity. The main motivation behind this work is investigate whether by itself, can isotropise universe starting initially with small anisotropy without incorporating super-stiff or non-ideal fluid, that impossible general relativity. Considering Bianchi I cosmology and employing dynamical system analysis, we see not possible for $R^n$ ($n>1$) $R+\alpha R^2$ ($\alpha>0$) theory, but $\frac{1}{\alpha}e^{\alpha R}$ theory. On other hand, if one does specify an theory priori demands smoothly connecting ekpyrotic contraction bounce, \emph{may} fulfil condition physically viability simultaneously.

An Open Universe from Valley Bounce
It appears difficult to construct a simple model for an open universe based on the one bubble inflationary scenario. The reason is that one needs a large mass to avoid the tunneling via the Hawking Moss solution and a small mass for successful slowrolling. However, Rubakov and Sibiryakov suggest that the Hawking Moss solution is not a solution for the false vacuum decay process because it does ...
متن کاملNon - perturbative Gravity , Hagedorn Bounce & CMB
In [1] it was shown how non-perturbative corrections to gravity can resolve the big bang singularity, leading to a bouncing universe. Depending on the scale of the nonperturbative corrections, the temperature at the bounce may be close to or higher than the Hagedorn temperature. If matter is made up of strings, then massive string states will be excited near the bounce, and the bounce will occu...
متن کاملA Non-Polynomial Gravity Formulation for Loop Quantum Cosmology Bounce
Recently the so-called mimetic gravity approach has been used to obtain corrections to the Friedmann equation of General Relativity similar to the ones present in loop quantum cosmology. In this paper, we propose an alternative way to derive this modified Friedmann equation via the so-called non-polynomial gravity approach, which consists of adding geometric non-polynomial higher derivative ter...
متن کاملEntropy of Contracting Universe in Cyclic Cosmology
Following up a recent proposal [1] for a cyclic model based on phantom dark energy, we examine the content of the contracting universe (cu) and its entropy Scu. We find that beyond dark energy the universe contains on average zero or at most a single photon which if present immediately after turnaround has infinitesimally energy which subsequently blue shifts to produce e+e− pairs. These statem...
متن کاملObservational Evidence from Supernovae for a Contracting Universe
New precision in measuring extragalactic distances using supernovae has confirmed with high probability an accelerating increase in redshift with distance. This has been interpreted as implying the existence of dark energy in an expanding and accelerating, flat universe. A more logical explanation of these observations follows directly from an observation made by Erwin Schrödinger in 1939 that ...
